All in all a very good service however I received two messages stating that my delivery would be between 7am and 11am, but on the day received a call from the driver saying that it would be between 8am and 12 noon. A minor change but I could have had another hrs sleep at the weekend!

Excellent, from start to finish. Not least as this took only some 48 hours. The web-site was easy to use and informative. This encouraged a swift purchase, with the promise of swift delivery. The delivery was exemplary: it followed the advertised process, with timely notice and subsequent refinement and confirmation. The delivery itself was done quickly, including installation, with courtesy and professionalism. Really very good indeed.

The reason I ordered from Boots was that I wanted to deal with a reputable company, with no risk of being let down with empty promises. I was led to believe from the mails received that my fridge/freeezer would be arriving on the 18th December, comfortably in time to fit into my new kitchen and fill it for Christmas Day where we were to entertain a dozen family members. Unfortunately I received a call a few days later to say they couldn't make the delivery date but I would have it 'in time for Christmas' on the 23rd December, a bit tight but we would manage. Again unfortunately I received another call on the 19th from Boots to say that the supplier had let them down and the item would be with me on the 7th Jan! NOT IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!
Needless to say our Christmas had to be re-arranged.
What disappoints me is that the e-mail from Boots Kitchen Appliances is worded with so much confidence, that it led me to beleive the item was onsite and guarenteed to be with me on the 18th.

This said, I must say that the UK telephone helpdesk was superb, both professional and friendly. This helped to take the sting out of the situation.

After two failed attempts to buy an oven online, the purchase phase kept timing out, I phoned in. The salesteam were busy but I was told that someone would ring me back. They didn't. Whilst making a second attempt to buy online that evening the product I wanted had gone up by £38. I phoned in but was told there was nothing they could do the price was now £369 and they were prone to fluctuations. I was very annoyed about not being able to purchase the product at the original advertised price and the reluctance of the salesteam to offer any agreeable solution. This marred my overall experience. However I still purchased the oven as a result of the the availability, the speed of delivery, the recyling option ( all of which I cannot fault) and the fact that the price was still competitive, although no longer one of the cheapest.

This was the first time I have used Boots for a kitchen appliance, and my choice was determined by price and availability. I was very impressed with the service - from start to finish everything was very businesslike and I was kept informed of delivery details. Delivery was made on time.

Easy to use site, good price and very good delivery arrangements. I particuarly liked the advanced notice of the time frame for delivery received both by email and text. Our slot was between 7am & 11am, it arrived at 8.10am allowing the rest of the day not to be wasted.

No problem with purchase experience but actual delivery appauling.
Old appliance was wheeled out of house and crashed down on to pvc door frame and step. The delivery men coated my hall carpet and kitchen with thick mud and then took ages trying to decide how the adjustable feet on the appliance worked, insisting they didn't adjust but the appliance was ona forward lean.
Laurel and Hardy could have performed a better job.

It is a great advantage to be able to choose the day for delivery before the ordering process is completed especially with something that is wanted urgently. Indeed this was my reason for choosing Boots. Delivery people very efficient.Price adequately competitive.
